Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS) is an academic enrichment program for outstanding high school students from around the world. Each summer, students from over 150 countries (including all 50 U.S. states) participate in one interdisciplinary, two-week session at Yale’s historic campus. Immerse yourself in a global learning community at Yale University.

Admission Decisions Released: March 2026
Eligibility
Applicants must:
Be at least 16 years old by July 2026.
Be currently enrolled in high school (or equivalent).
Not graduate before Summer 2026.
Demonstrate strong academic performance and leadership potential.
Show English proficiency (no official test required).
Financial Aid
YYGS offers extensive need-based financial assistance, including:
Full or partial tuition coverage.
Travel support for students with demonstrated financial need.
Application and program fee waivers for eligible applicants.
