Full Description

Code in Place is a free, online introductory programming course offered by Stanford University.
The program is based on Stanford’s famous CS106A curriculum and is designed for beginners with no prior coding experience.

Participants learn Python programming fundamentals through recorded lectures, hands-on assignments, and weekly live small-group sessions led by trained volunteer instructors. The course emphasizes community learning and practical problem-solving.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Be 13+ years old (16+ recommended for live sections).

• Have no prior programming experience (beginners encouraged).

• Have a computer and stable internet access.
