AIESEC is the world’s largest youth-led organization, present in over 120 countries, offering young people aged 18–30 access to international internships, volunteering experiences, and leadership development programs.
Through its global opportunities, AIESEC enables students and recent graduates to gain real-life international experience, develop leadership and professional skills, and contribute to meaningful projects aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Participants can choose from professional internships, paid placements, or volunteering projects abroad, while being supported by AIESEC’s local and international teams.
Key Dates
Applications Open: Year-round
Start Dates: Flexible (depend on the opportunity selected)
Duration:
Volunteering: 6–8 weeks
Internships: 3–12 months
Eligibility
Applicants must:
Be 18–30 years old
Be a student or recent graduate
Have basic English proficiency (no IELTS/TOEFL required)
Be motivated to learn, grow, and engage internationally
Meet visa requirements of the host country (with guidance)
Financial Aid
Funding depends on the opportunity type:
Volunteering programs:
Accommodation often provided
Some projects include meals or local support
Internships:
Many are paid or offer stipends
(Travel costs usually covered by participants unless stated otherwise.)
