Blueprint is Hack Club’s hands-on maker program where participants design, build, and ship custom projects within a budget. Participants can create anything from electronics, PCBs, hardware, art, and software, while tracking their progress on blueprint.hackclub.com.
Projects are reviewed for quality rather than just hours spent. Participants earn tickets based on effort, which can be redeemed in the Toolbag for prizes. Group projects are allowed, but only one person can submit and manage the journal.
The program supports a range of skills, including soldering, 3D printing, coding, and research. AI tools are allowed for code but not for journals. Hack Club provides resources like Hackpads, Printing Legion for 3D printing, and top-up forms for additional budget needs.
The submission deadline is January 1st, but participants can continue building projects and redeeming tickets afterward. All projects must be new, open-source, and follow the program’s guidelines to qualify for rewards.
