The Blue Ocean Student Entrepreneur Competition is the world’s largest virtual entrepreneurship competition for high school students, designed to help young innovators turn real-world problems into original business ideas. The competition focuses on “blue ocean” thinking, creating new market spaces rather than competing in crowded industries.
Students from around the world are invited to participate either individually or in teams, gaining hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, strategy, and pitching. All participants receive access to the Blue Ocean Mini-Course, which introduces essential business frameworks and tools to help structure and strengthen their ideas before submission.
Participants submit a 5-minute video pitch explaining their business idea, target market, and value proposition. Submissions go through multiple judging rounds, with top teams receiving global recognition, cash prizes, and certificates. The competition is fully online, making it accessible to students regardless of location.
